Catherine Baun

Catherine completed her legal studies at the University of Auckland and University of Western Ontario. She then worked for several years in Auckland in the areas of traffic law and criminal defence work.

In 2012, Catherine relocated to London and then Sydney, where she worked for two global law firms in the areas of anti-money laundering, sanctions and regulatory compliance. Since moving back to New Zealand in 2022, Catherine has returned to her first love of criminal defence work. Catherine brings a wide range of experience to Adam's practice, including outstanding legal research and writing skills and an excellent ability to cut through issues and resolve matters in a manner most beneficial to clients. 

Outside of work, Catherine enjoys keeping active, reading and spending time with her dog.
